The Mum Heart Conference is the realisation of a dream to encourage and equip Australian Christian homeschool mothers.

Modelled on the highly successful “Mom Heart” conferences run by Sally Clarkson from Wholeheart ministries in the United States, the very first conference in Australia for homeschool mothers was held in June 2012 at the Sunshine Coast.

Barb Somervaille and a wonderful team of women from Queensland’s Darling Downs organised a weekend of fun, fellowship and refreshment for over 100 women. The conference was a resounding success, with eager calls for it to become an annual event on the calendar.

2013 will bring the Mum Heart conference south of the border to New South Wales.

Hosted this time by Tara Marsh, Michelle Morrow and an enthusiastic team of homeschool mums from NSW, the picturesque setting of Noah’s on the Beach in Newcastle will provide an ideal backdrop for homeschool mums to be encouraged, inspired and re energised.

This is not so much a How-to-Homeschool conference, but rather a time designed to refresh and encourage you to keep going! You will hear a variety of speakers sharing about various facets of your role as wife, mother, homemaker, teacher and child of God, and you will meet with other like-minded mothers who understand the daily challenges of wearing so many different ‘hats’.

The Mum Heart Conference is a not-for-profit event and is designed with the intention of blessing other mothers in their call to Biblical Motherhood.
